In 1988, audio engineer Henry Kloss founded Cambridge SoundWorks in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Before that, he co-founded Acoustic Research, KLH, and Advent — and invented the acoustic suspension loudspeaker that changed home audio forever.
In 2000, he was inducted into the Consumer Electronics Hall of Fame in the inaugural class — alongside Nikola Tesla, Alexander Graham Bell, and Ray Dolby.
