Not sure which model or generation you have?
- Check the label on the underside of the speaker — the model name and version are printed on the base or inside the battery area.
- Look at the charging port. Older generations often use Micro-USB while newer ones use USB-C. For example, the OontZ Shower Gen 1 charges via Micro-USB and Gen 2 via USB-C.
- Check the original box or your order confirmation email — the generation is listed on the packaging and on your receipt.
- Compare features & battery life. Newer versions may add longer playtime, updated charging ports, stereo/dual-speaker modes, app support, or different waterproof ratings. Match those details against your product guide if the generation is unclear.
