Audio roots. Everyday sound.

OontZ is the portable Bluetooth speaker line from Cambridge SoundWorks, built around the same idea that shaped the company from the beginning: clear sound, practical design, and products people can actually live with.

“Big sound. Fair price. Built for real life.”

Henry Kloss · 1929-2002Founder, Cambridge SoundWorks · Consumer Electronics Hall of Fame, 2000

Great sound should feel easy to own.

The goal is simple: speakers that sound bigger than their size, hold up to everyday use, and make sense at checkout.

Clear, useful sound

Made for kitchens, garages, pool days, desks, travel bags, and gifts - not just spec sheets.

Ready for real life

Portable builds, water resistance by model, long battery life, and controls that stay simple.

High value, direct support

Official inventory, straightforward policies, and help from the OontZ / Cambridge SoundWorks team.

The story behind OontZ.

The OontZ line comes from Cambridge SoundWorks, co-founded in 1988 by Henry Kloss and Tom DeVesto. Kloss had already helped shape modern home audio through Acoustic Research, KLH, Advent, and Kloss Video.

That history is not here as decoration. It explains the product point of view: useful engineering, fair pricing, and audio made for real homes, trips, desks, patios, and weekends.

Today

Portable sound for real life

OontZ continues with mini, waterproof, travel, and louder party options for the places music actually goes.

The shape is part of the sound.

The OontZ triangular form is recognizable, but it is also practical: stable on a counter, easy to pack, and angled to project sound into the room.

1
Stable by designA wide base helps the speaker stay planted on desks, shelves, patios, and poolside tables.
2
Sound aimed outwardThe angled face helps push audio up and out instead of firing flat into the surface.
3
Easy to recognizeThe Angle silhouette gives the lineup a simple visual identity without making the product complicated.

Start with where the music goes.

OontZ does not need a huge lineup to be useful. Pick the setting, then choose the model that fits the size, volume, and water rating you need.
