What's Included

  • OontZ SUP Mount Base (with 3M adhesive tape)
  • OontZ SUP Mount
  • OontZ Speaker Bracket
  • Thumb screw and adjustment knob

Mounting the Base to Your Board

The mount adheres best to smooth surfaces such as epoxy, ABS, and fiberglass. Rough surfaces or glass may not hold firmly, which could cause the mount and attached speaker to fall off.

  • Peel off the yellow cover on one side of the 3M tape.
  • Press that side of the tape to the bottom of the OontZ SUP Mount Base.
  • Peel off the red cover from the 3M tape.
  • Place the base on a dry, smooth surface and press down firmly to adhere it.

After placing the mount, keep the surface dry and let the 3M tape adhere for a minimum of 20 minutes before use.

Attaching the Speaker

Attach the SUP Mount to the speaker bracket:

  • Place the bottom of the OontZ Speaker Bracket into the slots of the OontZ SUP Mount.
  • Insert the thumb screw into the SUP Mount and tighten it to secure the bracket to the mount so the speaker stays in position.

Attach the speaker to the bracket:

  • Loosen the adjustment knob on the back of the bracket until the bracket is wide enough to fit the bottom of the speaker.
  • While holding the assembled bracket and mount, place the bottom of the speaker into the bracket so the curved portion of the bracket fits the curved bottom of the speaker. There will be a small gap between the bottom of the speaker and the top flat surface of the bracket.
  • Turn the adjustment knob on the side of the bracket until it firmly clamps to the speaker. Do not over-tighten, as this may damage the bracket.

Detaching the Mount

The assembled SUP bracket, mount, and speaker can be detached from the SUP Mount Base left on your board. Firmly press together the clips on the side of the OontZ SUP Mount and slide the mount out of the SUP Mount Base.

Tips & Care

  • If using in salt water environments, rinse the speaker, bracket, and mount with fresh water after use, wipe off the water, and place in a dry location.
  • This routine helps keep the speaker, bracket, and mount from rusting over time.
